How long will it take my carpet to dry?

Depending on the material of your carpet, we suggest allowing four to twelve hours to completely dry. However, if necessary, you may be able to walk on your carpet immediately after the cleaning.

Do I really need a Carpet Protector?

Yes! Steam King’s professionals are your first line of defense after we clean your carpet. Even though your carpet probably came with protector from the factory, sunlight and wear and tear break down protective coating. You should have the protector reapplied once per year.

How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

We recommend using Steam King’s professional service once the soil becomes visible. One square yard of carpet can hold up to 10 lbs. of dirt before it becomes visible.
